PLANT TRAILERS

These trailers offer the flexibility of a flatbed with the added benefit of a low loading height to the rear of the trailer, with the inclusion of a sloping rear bed section, called a beaver tail.

The GH1054 offers one of the highest payloads ever produced by Ifor Williams Trailers. With it’s robust, welded construction and heavily treaded 185/70R13C tyres, the GH1054 is a rugged trailer for demanding conditions.

A 24mm platform makes the GH1054 particularly suitable for transporting a wide selection of plant, including tracked excavators, and many items of wheeled equipment such as rollers and a variety of access platforms.

It has an internal width of 1626mm, and length of 3045mm. With a huge payload of 2835kg. (without options)

The GH1054 can be fitted with a winch option, allowing the recovery and loading of broken down or unpowered vehicles. 

Some access platforms e.g. electric scissor lifts present particular transport challenges due to their narrow width, low ground clearance and high-point load wheels with low friction.

The GH trailers, with their thick floor and low loading angle are one of the few trailers generally suitable for carrying such plant.
